Message	flow bench, or attempt to swap the plenum in between dyno runs, it's hard to tell. I can say mathematically, that removing anywhere from 0-4mm of material from each port (since they're not quite oval) equaled in a 15-20% area increase. I just did the math for an area of an oval before/after. Either way like you said, it definitely couldn't hurt. It took me about 15min to do each port and used a small conical style sanding bit like below to polish out any roughness.
